ROCK PROPHECY / DA VINCI CODE SIMILARITIES CONTINUED:DC 2003: …there is some gray area in the prediction…whether the Church now has inside information that an exact date is looming, or whether they are just getting nervous on account of astrological prophecy, I don't know… RP 1999: …a planetary event such as this is not merely confined to the year of its exactitude, but spreads over several years either way…Hendrix prophesied that our planet will be affected "in about thirty years." His prediction is non-specific; it is an approximation based on his vision. DC 2003: In terms of prophecy…we are currently in an epoch of enormous change. The millennium has recently passed, and with it has ended the two-thousand-year-long astrological Age of Pisces - the fish, which is also the sign of Jesus…the Piscean ideal believes that man must be told what to do by higher powers because man is incapable of thinking for himself. Hence it has been a time of fervent religion. Now, however, we are entering the Age of Aquarius - the water bearer - whose ideals claim that man will learn the truth and be able to think for himself. The ideological shift is enormous, and it is occurring right now…The Church calls this transitional period the End of Days. RP 1999: …the Saturn-Uranus conjunction will definitely implement a turning point in Mankind's world view - be that view literal, psychological, or both. The sign of this conjunction's placement, Sagittarius, governs religious beliefs…emphasizing the need to discover new principles and a broader view…When Jimi was born, the conjunction took place under his sign of Sagittarius…The symbol for Sagittarius is the centaur, a creature half man and half horse. A centaur represents the centering of nature and spirit together as one unified being…Since disruptive Uranus has been traveling through Sagittarius…certain churchmen and theologians have been disrupting such Christian tenants as the Immaculate Conception, the Resurrection, and whether or not Jesus Christ was really the Son of God…the greatest and most far reaching change to take place over the next few years will be Mans idea of what "God" actually means.
TWO ERAS - DEFINED IN TIME DC 2003: …the End of Days…It refers not to the end of the world, but rather the end of our current age - Pisces, which began at the time of Christ's birth, spanned two thousand years, and waned with the passing of the millennium. Now that we've passed into the Age of Aquarius, the End of Days has arrived. RP 1999: …scholars have re-titled these periods as "C.E." (Common Era), which follows the birth of Jesus, and "B.C.E." (Before the Common Era). But it is important to realize the Common Era is a period limited to just 1,942 years. In November of that one thousand nine hundred and forty-second year, our liberation from dominators began with Jimi's birth, a day from which we now count in Hendrix Correct terms: we are not in the "twenty-first" century; rather, we are in the first century of the Hendrix Millennium - the Uncommon Era. DC 2003: The End of Days is a legend of paranoid minds…the Priory has always maintained that the Grail should never be unveiled. RP 1999: …armies of psychiatrists paid to label all descriptions of the Inversion as "paranoid"…they will…persuade the trained public that Rock Prophecy is a delusion of obsession that everyone must dismiss.
DC 2003: The quest for the Holy Grail is really the quest to kneel before the bones of Mary Magdalene. A journey to pray at the feet of the outcast one, the lost sacred feminine. RP 1999: Women with bound feet did work in the fields, but probably on their knees. It was a whole country that had a male population with a foot fetish…a whole social, almost religious, ritual… TOMB OF MARY DC 2003: …the hiding place of the Holy Grail includes a sarcophagus. Outside, the wind howled in the trees… RP 1999: …The seers tried to warn us and were silenced throughout HIStory. It is she who warned and was ignored. "The wind!" cries Mary. "The WIND!" screams Mary. DC 2003: The hiding place of the Holy Grail is actually…a tomb…A tomb containing the body of Mary Magdalene and the documents that tell the true story of her life…At its heart, the quest for the Holy Grail has always been a quest for the Magdalene - the wronged Queen, entombed with proof of her family's rightful claim to power. RP 1999: …he sings of Jesus showing him "a Queen in ebony in chains…Way up on the Moon her boat traders painted on a tomb"…by enslaving in "chains" what is feminine yet vital, "boat trader" dominators lead us to ruin. In the song Earth Blues he sees the last of man seek refuge on the Moon, only to perish in a lunar "tomb" covered with dust: "And across the surface these words were written 'First woman came from God's womb'"…the womb of Creation is feminine, and the Goddess gives birth to life.
DC 2003: The Sangreal documents simply tell the other side of the Christ story. In the end, which side of the story you believe becomes a matter of faith and personal exploration, but at least the information has survived… RP 1999: …another version of history exists, and it's not a dominator "winners" delusion. It's the truth…gauge for yourself whether or not my unpublished manuscript influenced…asteroid issues in mass media…success for Rock Prophecy is…measured by the Prophecy's survival.
DC 2003: …if the Church finds the Holy Grail, they will destroy it. The documents and the relics of the blessed Mary Magdalene as well. RP 1999: The unjust monied among us - the so-called "rich" - will seek out and destroy every copy of this book that they can confiscate.
DC 2003: What happens to those people…if persuasive scientific evidence comes out that the Church's version of the Christ story is inaccurate, and that the greatest story ever told is, in fact, the greatest story ever sold…I'll tell you what happens if the documents get out…the Vatican faces a crisis of faith unprecedented in its two-millennia story… RP 1999: People raised under Judaism, Christianity or Islam sometimes glimpse the sexist connections of their religion and experience the anxiety of anomy. Anomy is the sense of uprootedness that occurs when what was previously accepted as normal is shown to be destructive to everyone…What was once accepted is now rejected…If the "Messiah" is explained as a belief system designed to dominate women, anomy is unleashed among people trained to worship Christ, a position of confronting the Christocentric cosmos that shields many from facing the terror of anomy is to be exposed to the wrath of those who fear their own latent madness and therefore will inflict madness upon those who threaten their fragile sanity…if we're conditioned with religion as a way to stay "stable," then it might be dangerous to abandon that religion. DC 2003: He examined the spiked cilice belt clamped around his thigh…a leather strap, studded with sharp metal barbs that cut into the flesh…helped counteract the desires of the flesh… RP 1999: …in an irrational urge to silence or annihilate something that can do you some good…the persecutors will go to extremes, including harming themselves, in order to obstruct the object of their hatred…
